30 Oct Subscription Box of Gluten-Free Snacks
This week I received my first delivery of gluten-free snacks from SnackSack. SnackSack is a monthly subscription box with smarter snacking items made with wholesome, simple ingredients. The company offers you the choice of classic, vegan or gluten-free boxes. By the way, I am not affiliated with SnackSack at all — just an unbiased snacker!
This idea is such a great one; there are subscription boxes for clothing, pets, and beauty items — why not snacks? Below is a photo of my neighbor’s dog, Rusty, with his October subscription box of pet items. His dog mom, Jen, tells me that Rusty can sniff out the delivery as soon as it arrives on their doorstep!
So what was included in my first box of gluten-free snacks? Here is the rundown:
Pirate’s Booty rice and corn puffs (aged white cheddar)
Skinny Pop popcorn
Chili Roasted Pistachios
Stretch Island Fruit Leather (apple; grape)
MadeGood vanilla crispy square
This Saves Lives dark chocolate and cherry bar
Kind bars (caramel almond and sea salt; dark chocolate nuts and sea salt)
Nature’s Bakery raspberry fig bar
Yum Earth lollipops (mango; very cherry)
Epic Bison Strip
A reusable cloth bag
The other members of my family have already called dibs on several items. If they are nice to me, I may let them have a bite or two.
So let’s talk cost and value. The monthly subscription is $24.95 but SnackSack offers 20% off with a promo code listed on their website. The cost of shipping is included in the price, which is great. My box was around $20 total for all of the goodies listed above.
I was already familiar with some of the items like Pirate’s Booty, Skinny Pop, and Kind bars. There are also many items that are new to me. All in all, I think it’s a good value for a box of gluten-free snacks. Plus, there is something really exciting about getting a delivery that is a bit of a surprise. It’s like Past Me sent Future Me a care package.
This could be a unique holiday gift idea or a fun treat for a college student. There is a three-month gift subscription option on the website.
I haven’t tried any of the snacks yet (but as soon as I finish this blog post I am going to sample something)! Watch for another post about my favorite items.
Have you tried any of the above snacks before? Do you have any favorites? Let me know in the comments. Thank you!
